... towards the Waffle House, sniffing out the food options from the air. We could hear some quality sounds coming from somewhere. Continuing on our quest for our favoured past time, food sampling we ventured towards the top tunes drawing us closer. In Carthage, Missouri we visited a beautiful historic courthouse with an antique cage elevator that still works. We "shot" the Sheriff and his two deputies.......so we got out of Missouri in a hurry. Route ...

... the Giant Rocking Chair - a little quirky tourist lure. Cuba is also known for the number of street murals, not unlike KatiKati at home.We bypassed St Louis except for a quick trip into Ted Drewes Frozen Custard - the ride in was very hot and so many lights so once we got there, we weren't sure if we wanted to eat it or wear it. The ice cream was great to cool us all down and give us a few minutes off the bikes.

Back onto Route 66 and travelled ...
