    ... in Walmart for groceries, then headed in to the campsite. Due to the traffic we arrived later than planned. We pitched tents due to the numbers I ended up with one to myself which is a bonus.     I have made it back from my trip safely.

    Needed to fully pack the bike in Connecticut (its home base) to move it down to Manhattan so I can work 2 days and hit the road early Wednesday.

    I powered through and finally made it through Pennsylvania. By the end of it, both my feet and shoes needed a break from all the rocks. After crossing the PA/NJ border the rocks continued for another 15 miles but then slowly, to my relief, they began to subside. Maybe it was because I was tired of hiking Pennsylvania, but I really enjoyed the New Jersey section on the trail. Just before crossing the NY border the weather began to change for the worst. ...

    ... Jim and Clarence clearly maneuvered our rigs out of very narrow streets and circumstances! What troopers. Thank goodness for cell phones we stayed in touch with each other and at the very least provided each other emotional support during our short but eventful experiences. And if that wasn't enough! We ended up at two different Walmart parking lots 9 miles apart from each other. Gail and I learned the importance of putting the W in the right spot of the address. Anyway ...
