Following a change of clothes, we hooked the dinghy up to the main halyard this time and cursed as we had to maneuvre it around the stays to get it ahead of the mast. We finally got it tied up too. We will rig something new using a pulley where the baby stay used to be and hope that is an easier solution for the future. We might have plenty of time in the next few days to fix this up. If you turn on Bridge street and go up the hill about 20 more minutes on foot you have Home Depot, Walmart and many stores like that which you usually have to get to by car.
