Brookton Hwy Corrigin, Western Australia, Australia, (08)-9063-2390
While I did a little cleaning and washing Jeremy and the boys went with pa and Bocks for a walk to the nearby rock. They always enjoy going here to explore and perform on their rock stage. We all enjoyed lunch together before the BOcks headed off for more exploring and home. We went for a walk down the park in the afternoon and had fun playing down there. Earlier night for the boys tonight while the adults played cards (of course - unfortunately the boys won).<br>
Corrigin, Western Australia, Australia drownsroundausHad a good run on the road until we got about 30km out of Corrigin when we heard a grinding noise and got out to discover that one of the tyres on the caravan had bloown then shredded so on a reasonable steep hill we changed a tyre for the first time on the caravan. Probably lucky that we had to change the tyre cause otherwise we may not have discovered the spare wheel holder on the back had started to crack and ...
Corrigin, Western Australia, Australia drownsroundausFree as a bird, no worries or no thoughts in mind, just me and my Ford Transit cruising the in lands...I should repeat 'No thoughts in mind'! Well, I figured out it was time for me to explore the in-lands a bit, I also heard about the famous Wave Rocks about 4 hours from here...so... Heading towards Armadale I got just one word: WOW! They actually got hills here (Armadale is only half an hour from me), almost something closely resemblant to ...
Corrigin, Australia anne.wollandApril 30th My new host is Anita Hearl and she has four boys - Beau (17), Matthew (12), Liam (10) and Josh (3). She is a beautiful and sweet woman. I really enjoy her company. Beau has been at work each day and Matthew and Liam have been spending the weekend with their dad. Josh is adorable and looks just like his Mum. I have had a great time playing with him. I was supposed to have a vocational day on Thursday but ...
Byford, Australia ard0414April 23rd - Angela Davis On April 23rd, we went back to Conference for closing ceremony and then met our Corrign Club who drove us to our new host families. It was about a 5-hour drive and I arrived at my new home around 6:30 p.m. Ron and Eileen Williams were my new parents for the next few days. They are lovely people. Ron was a farmer and now runs a very large Market Garden on his own. Eileen use to run a dress shop for many years and now she ...
Corrigin, Australia ard0414Collected our camper van and headed towards Hyden (Wave Rock). Spent the first night in a very small town called Corrigin and even with the tiny population still managed to boast an Olympic swimming pool - no wonder Australia wins so many medals! Arrived in intense heat at 'The Rock' and had a quick nosy before we ...
Hyden, Australia pauleddy... big cold - we're still trying to figure out how we can get to Australia and be in need of extra covers... Hmmm... A nice relaxing nite in the room, after all the recent drinking sessions and then up sharp the next day to head back to Perth. A brief stop in York let us stretch our legs and see a bit of what is one of the oldest inland settlements in Western Australia. Quaint, but nothing really special I have to say. In saying that though, there are beautiful walks around ...

Northam, Australia juliaI have finally done some sight seeing of the area surrounding Grass valley. There was actually a lot more than I was expecting. My fears have been confirmed though....I am living in the middle of nowhere! Yesterday I visited York, Toodyay, Noble Falls and Northam and had a thoroughly enjoyable day chilling and relaxing. York - very small sweet town, the main highlight was my visit to a gallery ...
Grass Valley, Australia juliaI really am a lucky cow, I finished my door knocking job on the Friday, stayed with the rellies for the weekend and landed a new job on the Monday - quality. Im now in "Grass Valley" which is 1.5 hours drive east of Perth. I am currently working at Grass Valley Tavern as the only bar maid. Grass Valley isnt even a village really because there are about 20 houses near here (within 5K), the main business out here is farming - sheep, barley, pigs etc. The people are pretty ...
