Corral Motel is actually more log cabins BUT this one has a TV, Air Conditioning and WIFI YEAH The location was perfect for us but is way off the beaten trail. Very clean and beds were comfortable.

We had decided to postpone my birthday dinner in Custer in favor of dinner at Dad's Place in Thayne. This local bar hosts a small steakhouse in the back of the restaurant that is open from Wednesday to Saturday, and ...

Sheila and I have just returned to the coach after a full day at Grand Teton's Jenny Lake. We did a 3.5 mile hike and both Sheila and I are wiped out. We started out with a boat ride across the lake. Then we hiked up to Hidden Falls. We got up to the falls and had a sandwich for lunch. We were going to go to Inspiration Point but the Park Service is working on the paths. To get to Inspiration Point we would have ...

We headed back to Thayne with a stop for dinner in Jackson. Tomorrow we will lay low and get some things done. My truck is a mess and needs a good wash job. I also have some fixes to make to the coach.

Carol got me to the airport by 7:15 and Jim, the airport manager, helped us to pull the Rans out of the hangar. How sweet it was to have a hanger during all those thunderstorms. I could sleep well knowing that the Rans was protected.

The first leg was only two hours to Casper, WY. I had to gas up there for ...

It is the second largest natural freshwater lake in Utah and has been called the "Caribbean of the Rockies" for its unique turquoise-blue color, which is due to the reflection of "limestone deposits suspended in the lake." Its water properties have led to the evolution of several unique species of fauna that occur only within the ...
