    Corral Motel is actually more log cabins BUT this one has a TV, Air Conditioning and WIFI YEAH The location was perfect for us but is way off the beaten trail. Very clean and beds were comfortable.

    ... from her extended nap, and we all sat down to a dinner of pulled pork, sweet corn, and beans.  After dinner, we stoked the fire back up and visited until almost 10 PM.  Another great relaxing day with Dad and Susan.  Tomorrow we need to start preparing the trailers for our last leg home.  348 miles on Thursday to Fillmore, Utah, then a shorter 245 mile day on Friday home to Las Vegas.  We're all ready to see our own homes and our own beds again!     ... an RV park at the bottom of the hill that climbs into his mountain community.  Being a mile down the road means we know the area, and have driven the roads between here and Las Vegas many times.   Today's drive was an absolute pleasure.  We pulled out of Lander before dawn, and headed over the South Pass.  This pass is famous as being where the Oregon Trail crossed the Rocky Mountains.  The road out of Lander had some surprising climbs, and coupled with the ...

    ... there had been a sighting of a mother and her cubs yesterday. Sheila has a nice loud bell on her pack - the bears can definitely hear her coming.

    We made the 3.5 mile hike in about 4.5 hours. It was a good time outdoors. We will sleep well tonight.

    Tomorrow we plan to go to Afton and get the coach ready for Saturday's trip to Montana.

    ... took the truck to Thayne and did a complete wash job. I also started to fix a cosmetic issue on the coach which required a run to the True Value to get a piece of strap steel. Reminds me of my days at the test site. I got back with the steel and found my battery drill is not holding a charge. Seems that this fix will take longer than I expected.

    Tomorrow, we head back to Yellowstone to tour the eastern side of the park.
