... cannot do here. In order to do any hiking, you have to go with a guide. Unfortunately, the tours are not offered on Monday or Tuesday, our only full days here. There is one area open to see the ancient paintings and petroglyphs, but you have to have a permit. Only seventy permits are available, so we're on a waiting list for tomorrow. ... get for a stretch of the legs. The conductor announced there was a lady on the platform selling burritos and who should I see in the queue, but fatty !!! She had only got back from lunch 2 minutes earlier. She bought 4 burritos in total although 1 was for skinny, her husband. Thats assuming he can pry it loose from her steel-like grip.

... that my money was gone! I asked him to take me to the car lot for 100 dollars, that I had left there. When we got there, the car was gone. The man was furious so he and another tried to shove me in a car, but a woman saved me and took me to her home. It was filled with other illegal people hiding from the police. We had dinner and I had a well needed sleep. ...

... will be over so soon. Like it's almost over already. I haven't been away from day-to-day responsibilities, work, Mo, teaching yoga for this long in how long? I can't think of a time I've ever had this much time off, or this much time with Gita. I want to fight the feeling of time slipping away and try to enjoy every minute of it. Even the parts where the travel is arduous or boring or tedious or annoying.

Tomorrow I will post photos of UTEP, Gita's neighborhood, and El Paso. Enjoy.
