And I said we are off to see the Raw Oyster Cult play in one of the roughest suburbs in LA. We jumped into the private cab with these three ladies, and we were off. They were so nice. Today was the first day of busy days. We headed out and drove about 15 minutes down Lincoln Boulevard to Venice Beach which is famous for lots of things and just full of people that do random things on the Boardwalk. We started off by following Mel's Lonely Planet walk again. We started off by walking down the pier on South Venice Beach, it wasn't a particularly special but it was good to watch the surfers from. We then walked ...

... only window shop. Saturday we hit the streets of Downtown visiting some of the local sites. We first went to Walt Disney music theatre and explored around the plaza areas by the Museum of Contemporary Art, lovely gardens and open spaces made for a pleasurable stroll. Visited LA Cathedral a large modern building with a very pleasant plaza, saw a wedding ceremony in the main cathedral and alot of girls in their ...
