    I decided to ride the sleek Mark VII monorail today, it was unbelievable. The Disneyland monorail is a great attraction as well as a good type of transportation. The two mile circle around Disneyland is a must do attraction for myself and the students. I really enjoyed whizzing by the scenery, it's hard to believe the top speed felt as if we weren't going that fast at all.

    Took a long time going through passport check as the ladies computer wasn't responding so we were one of the last people to get through. However I was surprised at how friendly this lady was as we had a very nice chat while we were waiting. I had been given the impression that US officials are very stern but this not the case here. So it was a nice welcome to the States.

    ... us eh! However they are saying it is unseasonably hot. Our motel could not be better situated; just behind Graumans Chinese Theatre which is halfway down Hollywood Boulevard.
