... Obama to enjoy, so we went to what was left. We followed a walk along a boardwalk over part of the glades. I had forgotten the insect repellent, a fact the insects were delighted about, and brightly coloured moth looking things started drawing blood out of us.

The appeal of nature somewhat lessons when you're fending of vampirish bugs. The dark skies and imminent rain didn't help either and we decided to leave the park before we got locked ...

I put groceries in my GPS but it kept taking me to convenience stores in the area. Small shops, some in dodgy areas. I had tried 3, one even called a supermarket, still, it was a small shop. I was quite annoyed by this time, as I'd wasted so much time driving around in circles and I still had no ...

Saturday 8th March we set off for our first holiday since arriving in NY. After all the winter storms we have been encountering we decided a top up of vitamin D was very much needed so headed to the "sunshine state" aka Florida. First stop was Miami and annoyingly we couldn't get Will Smith’s “Miami” song out of our heads the whole way there. You know when you have arrived on holiday when you walk off ...
