... of Cortez Street. The beach is only a block away, and very nice. There are also a lot of restaurants along the beach front. I bought a pineapple and coconut milkshake from Haagen-Dazs. It cost $7, but worth every cent - America does great milkshake. Sipped on it while exploring the rest of the mall. Bought a packet of ham and cheese slices with crackers from a big convenience store and ate these on the steps looking over the beach and the ocean.

First Hostel Experience

... met singing our faces off into the night playing the Encore game. We took a midnight swim in the warm water and shared laughs until the late hours in the night.

When I got back to the hostel we figured out that the people we were singing with shared our hostel! What a small world! Everyone in the hostel was super laid back and down to meet everyone.

John however chose the very back top bunk and couldn't even flop himself up there ...

... way window view of the corridor and private key card access to “The Living Room” which is a shared private lounge with a bar for 5:00-7:00pm happy hour drinks, two large TV screens and seating for “hanging out.” I am intrigued to use the “Board” where singles can sign up for that evening’s dinner together.

Checking Norwegian’s website 36 hours before sailing, the studios are sold out; not so with inside ...
