So much has happened since our last notes and many miles have been traveled already, but lets start where I left off last time.Purchasing the van was the easy part, getting a reasonable insurance for it was a lot more difficult. Florida with so many Mexicans and other foreigners driving has very high premiums, so here I arrive with a South African Licence and no driving record,- Cheapest monthly rate was U S D 215.-(Minimum. insurance required).

The hotel is okay for a one nighter.

We went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. As always it was marvelous. Guenther had the steak Diane and I had the catfish. We brought a key lime pie cheesecake home for later.

We made a new friend here (don't tell Ying and Yang!)

Tomorrow is the start of the cruise and luxury galore.
