    ... how much they can push the limits... Kim and Uncle Joe were very nice to drop me off at the airport on Thursday night. In fact, Uncle Joe was SO nice that he insisted on walking me in and waited for me to get my tickets.I was cursing at him in my head the entire time because I couldn't hold it together. I think that the United Airlines guy was too because DANG, that guy kept his distance! So much for all of that time ...

    ... other boat at the dock shown here, ate some dinner, and sat down for some much needed rest and relaxation. We have been going non-stop for several days now, so this quiet day was much appreciated.

    I needed to begin my biking season in earnest especially since cs and bz signed me up for a 30 mile bike ride in the Portland area. I had taken a few short rides around home - one around the Cordell-Kings Road block for 5 miles and another where I did 15 or was it 20 miles on the Rotterdam bike path and then from the boat launch area to Lock 7 of the Barge Canal.
