Our first day in Whangeria was spent
planning our time on the North Island and getting some sort of plan
of action together as to where we would go next. We had both managed
to get burnt during what was a mostly cloudy day and as a consequence
we were both really sore and could hardly move. Andrew made a

John and BeiBei gave us a lift downtown to get on a 4.30pm NakedSleep bus to take us up to Paihia. As an example of 'Small World' happenings, the driver just happened to be a guy from Cardiff, who has lived out here for many years, but not lost his accent!

We headed out earlyish, 10 am, to go North for our first Rugby game. The game was Canada vs Tonga at 5 pm in Whangarai, 3 hours north of Auckland.We hopped on our tour bus, our driver today is Gilbert and our navigator is Cheryl.
