After spending about an hour at the memorial we continued to head west into Ohio getting to our campground at about 6 pm.
Tomorrow we will make our way to Tinley Park where we will spend the afternoon visiting before continuing our trek west.
... me to go get willingly dunked in cold water. It's a pretty place though, and I'm glad I went. I drove the length of the island then went in search of food (and coffee) and just pretty much kept to myself, as I do. One thing I did do quite a lot of there was swearing. The kids had been looking forward to this our whole trip. We passed this park last time we were in the area and we were told afterwards that it is one of the better amusement parks in the country. We had a really great day here. We all worked up the courage to try some of the really crazy roller coasters they have here.
Sydney and Wendy went on several of the looping and corkscrew coasters and loved them.
Sadly our days at Cedar point are now over! After the usual ride filled morning we went to the water park - Splash City.
