    ... is going to be an issue having that place so close. Tomorrow we drive- we've never been in the car for longer than 3 1/2 hours together and we are driving to Florida! Ahhhhhhh. Tyler and I both tend to get carsick so this should be interesting. I'm packing a puke bowl. The family road trip is Christians dream (and my nightmare).     ... where due to continuing rains we decided to stay overnight in a nice well-equipped cabin. Also, due to the winds and the rain, we couldn't cook out, so we went to the Lone Star Roadhouse nearby and ate a delicious salmon and shrimp dinner followed by a peach cobbler dessert.

    This week, Thursday, will be four weeks post surgery for us. Honestly, the past four weeks have pretty much been a blur of healing, getting off of narcotics (not an easy task after two years!), and just kind of cruising through each day on autopilot. I'm feeling better most days...some days are emotionally challenging and weepy...but over all, the horrible back pain that I've lived with for several years is gone.
