    Ahhh...Midwestern weather! We are deep in the middle of a typical Midwestern winter...40 degrees and bright sun one day and single digit temperatures, grey, and gloomy the very next day. And THIS, my friends, is why we moved to Maui!

    ... was literally right across the street from the hospital so he would grab some dinner and hit the bed!

    The next five word...PAIN! Enough said! I have been on so many narcotics that I lost count. I also had to have a blood transfusion as my hemoglobin had dropped way below acceptable levels.

    On Tuesday, I was released to come home. We literally went right from the hospital bed to the car for a five hour car ride ...

    Because chocolate eggs are far too mainstream.

    ... of Whoonu, Bananagrams and of course, food, wine, and plenty of laughs! It really just cemented in my mind the knowledge that I truly do adore my family here. They’re quite nearly the American counterpart of my own! I hate to be predictable in how I end these entries.. but it really just reminded me of how much I love it here. This is my life now, (though scarily only for a few more months!) and I honestly couldn’t be happier!
