the closer I become to my friends, who are really more like family. It does
feel like each time I leave, I leave a small part of myself there, which is why
I never feel quite whole until I go back.
This, along with the fear that something might happen to someone I care about, as every time
I leave, I never know who I will not get to see again. I don’t know how they do

Local transportation (such as Guaguas and buses) are always an option but these too will take some getting used ...

... in DC. What a beautiful building. After "donating" some money, I was given a wrist band and told I could wander the Cathedral on my own. She pointed out Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson's graves. They are located in a nave of the church about half way down the aisle. Very nicely done. Interestingly, the Cathedral is not Catholic, but darned near...Episcopalian. You can think of them as "Catholic-Lite!" Now that's interesting because Wilson was ...

... into it. The place filled up around 5 as everyone knocked off for the weekend. Some drunk guy started singing Proud Mary really loudly, so that was my cue to leave.

Philadelphia seems pretty nice. It's like a grittier version of Washington. Still has the row houses and historical buildings everywhere, but it also has hipsters who smoke old fashioned tobacco pipes and seedy dive bars.

Tomorrow I finally make it to New York City. So excited.
