    We spent a further two days exploring and living the Gold Coast life. A day in the dinghy checking out the Nerang River and the canals, especially interesting for John as his childhood was spent in these areas and he could not recognise where the river used to flow. We did find a park that he and Roger used to sail their sabot's from so that was exciting. Some of the houses on the river were quite nice, but they are still on the Gold Coast... More madness ...

D & I helped Paul spread garden mulch before a delicious roast lamb dinner....that, and a morning coffee together in Noosaville, was a perfect way to end our visit with two great people!
