... a cold. We looked around at the gift shop and Derek found Huckleberry Jam to take home.

After lunch we headed north to the Air Force Academy. Natalia told us some of the details about the Academy on the way there, and also a lot about the Colorado Springs area. As we drove up the road to the Academy we saw a B-52 beside the road. Our first stop was the Visitor's Center and had a little time in the gift shop until the introductory movie ...

... beautiful as the leaves are changing and when we get to the top there is a little snow. We have about an hour to take pictures, and then we head back down.

We stop in Manitou Springs for lunch at PJ's Bistro. This was a great little place. The waiters were friendly and the food was good. After lunch, we head back over to the Air Force Academy to tour the grounds. The Air Force Academy Chapel is beautiful and nothing like anything we have ever seen. ...

... were in the car and that was all we needed to do. I certainly hope so. J

We checked in at the United counter and had to pass through an initial round of security where we were asked questions on the purpose of our trip, where we traveled, did we pack our luggage, etc. We then found our way to the main security where we had to pass through another passport check, then through security similar to TSA in the US. A police officer was manning ...
