      ... so you can always be assured he will have an outstanding selection waiting for us. True to form, he started out with a black sparkling Shiraz to wake the palate. For dinner he brought out a 2001 Rockford followed by a 2002 Wolf Blass and Penfolds from the Barossa Valley. Not too shabby. Chris prepared a crusted fish appetizer followed by a Caesars Salad, vegetables and filet mignon. The Ceasars salad has an interesting story behind it. ...

      ... meals as well. Apparently neither of us has thought this morning about emptying out the fridge of the apartment. Hmm, and we had it all planned out not needing to buy anything along the way for the next week or so. Given that we are still relatively close to Port Augusta I venture a call to check if it is worth returning for our stuff. But all has been chucked in the bin by the cleaning staff. Bugger!

      ... we had prepped in the morning. Other than the sunshine and food there were two other things that made me smile here: zip line (see pictures) and free powered public BBQ stations. Free, and public! They were stainless steel boxes with a hot plate and fat drain hole. Press a button and off you go. No wonder the Aussies have a reputation, I'd be off to the park to cook my Sunday fry up in winter. My excitement ...

      After a few stops the tram came to a halt and after a while the driver apologised, saying that he had to wait for a mother duck and her ducklings to leave the tracks as he didn't want to run over them. They finally made it across and then had to negotiate the very busy Anzac Drive. Four lanes of traffic, unbelievably, stopped to let them cross to the park on the other side.
