... main areas and it was great to see Haight Ashbury where all the hippies used to hang out. Jimi Hendrix’s house was pointed out and the whole area is still very cool apparently. We got off the bus at Golden Gate Park and this was an absolute delight. We happened upon a modern art gallery which was the most wonderfully designed building and full of very attractive stuff – old and new.
