      ... downtown for dinner at the Red Onion. The Red Onion is another classic Aspen location. It is more of a bar in the front, but they have a dining room area in the back. I got a margarita and the pork schnitzel with lemon caper sauce for the main course. You get to choose one side with your meal and I opted for the Red Onion Salad. I loved the everything I ordered. For dessert I got the Mexican Chocolate Cake served with vanilla ice cream. ...

      ... great to see them! Then skiied down a bit and went our separate ways. Went to the grocery store for provisions and decided to eat in since we were not starving. Watched TV. MD called on FaceTime and sang us the sweetest birthday song (The Best Day by Taylor Swift)! It really was a perfect day!
