My french friends would say that the Rockies don't have the majesty of the french Alps but I love their softness and the fact that you can reach the summit within few hours but still can climb verticals ...

... Jack suggested that we find a cabin for the next few nights. Luckily, we stopped at the forest service office where we met a local resident who suggested we try Beaver Lake Estates where they have three guest cabins for rent at the bargain basement price of $35 per night!

Off we went to the Estates! And when we arrived, there was indeed a cabin waiting for us that overlooked Beaver Lake. And it was rustic and fine, so we stayed ...
