... where the ice cream sundae was invented. I had one and it was very yummy. Upstairs is a ballroom still in use for plays, weddings, etc. It had been a hotel, then a boarding house and the bar is still there. It also had a dentist's and doctor's office and a barber shop with all the equipment. There was a spectacular doll's house complete with beautiful furniture. ... windpants and 2 pairs of socks. That wind.

Anyhow, we fished with spinner bait and caught a ton of bass spawning up and down the river.

The water getting there was rocky and shallow but crystal clear and amazing. Wish I had a paddle board, some sunshine and Texas heat.
