... was brunch at the revolving Sydney Tower (http://www.sydneytowerbuffet.com.au/). It is one of the highest observation decks and we will get to partake of the view for up to 90 minutes. It will also be a chance for some adventurous eating if we are up for trying kangaroo, emu or crocodile. We shall see! I'll be taking a short trip to Romania and Belgium this week. It's an interesting combination, but I think I will enjoy both places. As usual, I won't have enough time to do everything I want, but that is typically the case for me. The weather will be winter-like, but hopefully not as cold as it is here.
Here is that plan of attack:
T-minus 80 days and counting! That sounds crazy to me considering when we booked the trip to Australia wayyyyy back in May (nine months out) it seemed like forever to wait.
Things are coming along quite nicely. All hotels have been booked and paid for as have our major modes of transportation. That's where the title "taking the long way around" comes into play. We knew we were flying into Sydney ...
Once again it is a beautiful day in Two Rivers. The weather here has been low 60's to mid 70's the whole time. This morning (Saturday - I know I'm a day late) I rode my bike from camp to town (a five mile trip). I was wrong, by the way, the path is 5 miles from Point Beach to camp, and 5 miles from camp to town. I met my grandparents at the park (which is just at the end of the bike trail) for the family reunion.
