    Woke up today to the overwhelming humidity in our tent. I got up and meandered about for the morning doing laundry, showering and lazing by the pool. Once I got all my errands out of the way. Headed down to the beach, the heat was already unbelievably harsh. Needless to say I didn't spend a lot of time on the beach but instead was frolicking around in the water.     ... and marshmallows. He got a few of them to jump but it wasn't anything super spectacular. The swamp was absolutely stunning in parts, when we pulled off the main river into the little streams it was like another world entirely. Basically had entered Narnia.     As I sit now on our 10 hour flight back from Rome to Charlotte and on to Santa Rosa Beach (20 hours total since we started at 5AM Rome time 10PM Wed nite Santa Rosa beach time) We're 14 hours in to it as I write this last entry and it’s setting in that we’re at the end of a long journey.
