... in Hopetown all year and lives aboard. She does fly to MA each Christmas to be with her kids and grand kids. Her boat is called "Caesar's Ghost", named after her departed black Lab. We saw her boat in the harbor last year but never got to meet her. She's a true inspiration.

We all managed to have dinner with Dale on his boat Monday night. It was fitting. "Pasta a la Dale" just like the night we arrived in West End. A fun filled beginning and a fun filled ending. ... it. Conch shells are a work of art and certainly a marvel of mother nature. The Queen conch can live up to 30 years and grow to over a foot in length. They have been over harvested and can no longer be taken from the waters in Florida. ... sunscreen company and invited us aboard to watch the sunset and have drinks and snacks. He arrived at West End the same day we did and we keep running into him in various anchorages but have never met him. He's doing the great loop with crew members joining him from time to time. He said he'll call us when he gets to Lake Michigan sometime this summer. Tomorrow we head to Man-o-War Cay.
