    We woke up following a night of off and on sleep due to the thunderstorm and persistent rain ready to head to the Saskatchewan capital. The ground was all muddy and things were still damp, but luckily our gear all managed to stay dry under the tarp of our trusty tent.     ... on the last leg of the flight, but got on theground seconds ahead of the storm. We were stuck in the plane then for an hour, but at least we were in Regina. More boring stuff with the baggage system, but hey, at 10:30 i was in my own bed. It was a great trip, and I'd do it all again (minus a couple of tactical errors). Staying connected has become a very important part of these adventures. Thanks to everyone who ha followed and sent mcomments and messages. Next year- ...

    We've had our last major hikes with our packs over the weekend. My pack is weighing in around 15 pounds. It is the right size for carry on. We are excited with a little nervousness. We fly from Regina-Toronto-Munich-Madrid.

    The weekend began with me pulling apart the Dodge on Friday night. I had asked Eric to come by Saturday with some tools and give me hand so I wanted it done as far as I could before he came. When he finally showed up on Saturday we really didn't do anything except get the parts, water pump and timing belt.
