    The Morning After

A travel blog entry by marknorthcott on May 16, 2003

We woke up following a night of off and on sleep due to the thunderstorm and persistent rain ready to head to the Saskatchewan capital. The ground was all muddy and things were still damp, but luckily our gear all managed to stay dry under the tarp of our trusty tent. We quickly packed up all the gear, had a small breakfast and hopped on our bikes …

Unfortunately, the flight is already oversold by 3 seats, so they are already trying to bribe passengers off the flight with flight vouchers. No luck for us on that one, so it's a long wait until our 7:55 pm flight.

Anyway, to make a very long story short, we made it, exhausted and buzzed, but it sure is good to be home.

... around before getting on the road again to start the long days trip home. We saw lots of Mule Deer and Pronghorn sheep as well as a few Golden Eagles eating deer that were dead on the side of the road. We had 3 stops to get gas and some hot drinks and were at the boarder back to Canada at 6.30pm. The boarder crossing was nice and easy and we didn't have to wait which was awesome. The weather pretty much turned to **** as soon as we had crossed the boarder so we had ...
