    ... hike! We would never have found something like that on our own, and it goes to show what a little locals' knowledge can do for you!

    We decided to skip the western portion of the Olympic Peninsula and head straight east toward Yellowstone. Before we left, we checked the weather, and found that our first night in Yellowstone was predicted as 15 degrees F. Yes, 15 degrees. How did the poor, warm-blooded Floridians fare?
