One of the newer National Parks is near Columbia and we decided to drive on over. Congaree National Park became a NP in 2003. There is a Visitor Center, primitive camping and a number of trails. We tried a walk on the elevated boardwalk but were turned back by rain. I had an umbrella, but the walk was getting slippery. Well, we didn't want to be so close and not visit.
... had an on line meeting with Brothers Nick and Dan in Santa Barbara. We usually do this every other week, but I have missed a few while traveling. After the meeting we fired up the BBQ and enjoyed some local corn.

Next was lunch in Spartanburg at the Monsoon. This was Thai food at its finest and a real find for this vegan. We left the Monsoon and walked across the street to park.
