A beautiful blue sky and lots of sunshine greeted us this morning. Today we drove to another volcanic area south of Rotorua called Wai-O- Tapu. The Rotorua luge company also has a luge track at Mont Tremblant in Quebec. That was my time in Rotorua. Lots of gardening with a hint of sulphur
... Cave, we saw our first glow worms, or rather, we saw their little glowing lights. Used to attract poor unsuspecting bugs, the larvae would have about 15 sticky bits of string coming down which the bugs would stick to! This also meant that when the larvae pupated and hatched as beautiful bugs with no mouth or stomach, doomed to die soon once they'd mated, they were often eaten by their neighbours further down the stream. Hungry for Hangi
