Today the morning was cloudy and rainy. I waited the weather out, and packed up to travel to the Ferry to Mackinac Island. The ferry ride over was chilly, but the rooster tail from the jet boat was pretty impressive. After a 15 minute trip, and a great view of the Mackinaw bridge, we arrived at the docks on the island. Today was one of the most amazing days so far! We started off with a yummy, home cooked breakfast. The shuttle picked us up and delivered us to the Star Line Ferry for our trip over to Mackinack Island. Since the late 1800's vehicles have been banned on this island.
