... We would have liked to stay longer but it did not work out that way. The city has three of our major check list items for a final destination; food, beer and entertainment. The negatives are definitely the traffic and being stuck in the middle of Texas. However, it is still in our top three of places we would settle down in along side Asheville, NC and New Orleans. ... session as there were delays with the medical helicopter because of communication problems - a loose antenna. With Turn 1 being uphill and blind for the drivers, we observed many different lines. Most of the cars (with the exception of Redbull) were skittery suffering understeer and traction out of this corner but this will change once some more rubber is down. The run down to Turn 2 is fast flowing and really shows ...

... town, we passed by landmarks (such as St. Luke's church, where we almost got married) that were way on the outskirts of town in the mid 80s, but are now right on major thoroughfares. We found our way to a favorite old haunt, Trudy's, and enjoyed some time catching up with Roberta, John, Alex, and Seth (Fox was working). Good times, indeed.

We weren't sure what kind of food we would find at the iPic so we decided to grab a bite to way before the movie. We headed to Cru Wine Bar for wine (duh), cheese fondue (YUM!!) and this delicious specialty pizza. All of it was fabulous!!
