    ... states “they are in engaged in a capital campaign to renovate the Seneca Knitting Mill”, which sits on a branch of the Erie Canal. The canal was quite cool.     ... to take an unexpected wal-mart stop where people picked up sleeping bags and pillows. We were supposed to stop at a park for lunch in a place called Ithaca but the parking for the park had disappeared so we improvised and ate lunch in a random car park just round the corner.     ... Auntie Denise's house in Aurora. It was a beautiful drive and we arrived at sunset. There was still some snow on the ground and it was pretty cold. The house was so beautiful like a house in a home magazine and Denise had cooked us the most delicious dinner. Nick was there and Steve and we had a really lovely evening. After catching up with them we were pretty tired from our day travelling so we collapsed into the big comfy beds. Talk to you guys soon.- Grace.

    We're on the road, starting the first stretch of our trip! It is hard to leave home, but we are looking forward to all of the adventures to come. Car is packed to maximum capacity (with still being able to see out of the windows, of course). With a full tank of gas, a heavy heart, and some nervous excitement, we are off to a good start and almost to buffalo. We will make a couple of posts each day of our trip, so stay tuned!!
