There was a glass wall which allowed visitors to watch paleontologists work under electron microscopes to clean fossils. It was really interesting.
We then went up the road a short way to the monument HQ which is housed in the old Cant family homestead - a beautifully maintained farmhouse.

I got sprinkled on only twice and It took me so much time to get decked out in rain gear that the rain was over 3 min. later.
