    ... by plane :). We decided on a time, and then went to go exploring. So besides the Dining Car, there's the Parloue Car which has a theatre on the bottom level, and also the Cafe Car, with a lounge on the top level. Then there's 3 Sleeper Cars just like ours, and then on the other side of the food cars, there's a couple of Coach/Economy Cars as well!

    ... Before I had time scan any further for evidence of my road kill, I looked up only to see life getting worse fast. In a residential driveway at the very start of the one stop light town of Stanley was a cop with a radar gun. The whole hitting an unknown object thing had distracted me from my original task of slowing down for the speed trap. As I later learned, I crossed his radar beam doing 61 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. Now speeding is really not that big a deal in Oregon ...

    ... more as I lost my cool trying to put up the tent in 100 degrees heat on rocky ground (All i will say is that we now need to buy some new tent stakes as I really went to town with the mallet on the old ones).

    Tent kind of erected we headed to the reservoir for a well earned cool off. Foiled again, the reservoir that looks so appealing from our campsite requires you to trudge through what I can only describe as "quick mud" ...
