      ... city. After dropping our bags in our hotel for the first night, Sheraton in Fisherman's Warf, we go for a quick bite on the way to the Alcatraz ferry.       ... the gate. As I watched the snow coming down, I really thought we would not be able to take off. But we DID!! It was a little scary to watch them de-ice the plane and to see the entire ground covered with snow, despite the multiple snow plow trucks working there ....Later we found out that our original 5pm flight was canceled.
