... I was a volunteer for this festival. We organized some activities for the kids. I worked at a fish-painting tent. The children had to paint a rubber fish and tamp a paper on it. It was really fun.

This week, I’m going to go to Boynton Beach! I will spend three days with my mother’s cousin. I’m really excited to discover another city. At the end of the week, I’ll be back to work at the Manatee Center.

... for a few extra days so that we could spend time with them and then had a farewell dinner with them a month later as we were passing through again.

We pretty much spent the month of September on a mooring ball at Vero. Then we moved back down to Ft. Pierce for a couple of nights and then on to Stuart as we had to get to Indiantown for insurance purposes.

It finally got warm enough on the 18th to go to the beach and sit. Last September Wolf and I saw some unique beach chairs that you carry on your back like a backpack and you can carry items in a pouch that is attached to the back. We liked them so we purchased a couple and this is the first time we have used them. The beach was fun and not very crowded,but the water still very cold. Along A1A there are these beach parks that have a parking lot, beach access and bath houses and they are free. ...

... reservation. It was only about 2 hours south on I-95 to get there. We were able to visit with Nana when we got there on Saturday and take a swim in the pool with Uncle Michael, Aunt Cheryl and Niki. We ate dinner at Jason's Deli (and rode out a strong storm while we were in there). We rested up at the Fairfield Inn for the night.
