... Habitat for Humanity in a small town called Fellsmere. Habitat volunteers recommended a local restaurant, Marsh Landing, where I had one of the best meals I have ever had. Fresh shrimp & grits with Andouille sausage. sautéed in garlic butter and a special blend of spices. It's been a great week here in Vero Beach - Sunshine Travel is a very nice Encore Park -
wide sites, concrete pads, a warm pool, and very friendly people!

Add to that being only a 10 minute drive from the beaches, and a week of temps in the 80's, and it's about as close to heaven as ...

... and our rooms were not ready so we went on the beach and fell asleep and got soooooo burned that we never drank the beer and stayed in bed for a few days with the chills. Took that case home for another day. No sunburn this time and no hangover either.
