The drive to Kelowna gave us our first glimpse of Canada's countryside. En route to Kelowna we made a pit stop to watch some barrel racing which was quite the experience. We arrived late in the afternoon in the small town of Kelowna where we simply enjoyed some Indian food in the hotel room.

... I see a sign for Three Valley Gap Ghost Town and look it up on the internet (loving technology! How did I manage without it??). It is a village set up in the theme of a mining town, and has 25 historic buildings plus some activities. The cost is $12/person. I read this information to Jim as we drive along. He is intrigued as well and we decide that we would like to check this out as it sounds like it could be a lot of fun. We now have a destination ...

... jump start the bus.
Tonight dinner was included at the Hostel. The new chef is an Aussie and he cooked some good roast chicken and vegetables. A home cooked meal was very welcome.
Tonight Megan took us to Levels nightclub for "college night". $2 drinks! All the skanks and douchbags were out in full force. The place was pretty dirty and the dj sucked but we made the most of it for what it was.
Tomorrow we head to the Canadian Rockies!

... tree runs, it was epic!! Plenty of powder and we could stay out of the wind and fog. At one stage we thought we lost josh so we unclipped and started hiking to try find him, worried he may have fallen in a tree well. We yelled and yelled. There were lots of dips in the snow with creeks and big tree wells that we had to be careful with. We found josh! He was waiting at the bottom, just got separated from us, ...

... all the planes from America were late due to very bad whether and no Sue didn't make the plane, but more on her story later. The flight was only one hour, nice and quick, went to get our luggage, that's when the dramas started one of Rob's bags got destroyed and and Cooper's snow pants, looked like a bear had attacked them, as check out the photos.
