... since we arrived on Monday; therefore, the sky was smoky, but the wind was blowing the smoke off to our right. In spite of the fire, the setting was amazing. Shirley ordered their spinach salad with grilled chicken, and I had their braised beef. The presentations were over the top and the food was delicious. It was a wonderful way to have lunch - great friends, views, weather, food, and wine. What more could you ask for?

... a walk. The houses are huge, beautifully decorated for Christmas and all 'match'. It's a lovely area.
Check out the photo that shows the hedge belonging to a house across the road. Deer run wild and you can see where they eat the hedge - but only as far as they can reach. Apparently there's also coyotes in the forest behind the house. And bears...?!

... outfit but managed to sort out something ridiculous. The more outrageous the better. The opshop theme came about back in the day when everyone would attend in their nice clothes and end the night with them being damaged or dirty, so everyone decided they would wear there old clothing. ... campground, which was literally in a lady's backyard! It was so nice, there was only about 8 sites but each had fresh flowers and easy access to the chicken coop to pick eggs each morning. Leslie, the lady who owned the farm had a huge vegetable garden as well for us to pick and collect veggies for lunch and dinner. We even got to eat the eggs we had taken from the coop that morning!
Kelowna is known for their wineries and we sure went to a lot ...

Russ stayed at home in the morning, we have a new sim for the phone for our stay in Canada and he needed to top it up but there was problems, it was so hard to get to talk to a real person.
