America looks very very very perfect, planned and organized. There was blizzard when I landed in Chicago but everything looked perfect - the traffic, professionalism even the weather. Yet there was something missing. I was constantly trying to find out what it was. I spoke with my cousin. He who have been living here for past 20 years resonated the same. It will be worth every penny you have to scrape together, the time off work, the exercise classes to get ready, the neighbor kid you have to bribe to water the plants and collect the mail. Stop wishing and hoping. Take the plunge! Just go. And take someone you love with you!

... only when we needed to head downstairs to the adjoining 7/11 store for more boxes. At noon we took a break and walked down State Street to Jewel-Osco where we purchased ham, tomatoes, avocado and bagels for lunch. Back to the apartment for more packing, a quick break for lunch, further packing, a trip to a nearby FedEx store for bubble wrap, even more packing... and so our day continued. At 4:30pm we showered and changed, Sarah arrived home and the four of us walked to ...
