... morning we drove south along Hwy 31 - called the Oregon Outback which had us in rain and snow for over 209 miles. Beautiful snow and good roads. Although we planned to stay in Likely,CA the park was closed due to snow, so we motored on to Susanville to see my family. Then headed back to Wilton over Hwy 80 and more new snow. Nope...he/she didn't...so may be another ...

Today started slow as usual. No matter when I get up I rarely seem to be able to cook, eat, lubricate, sunscreen, dress, break camp, and pack before 9:00am. I guess when I look at it like that it's no wonder it takes forever. It is quite to process and believe me, you don't want to be on the side of the road lubing your chamois! It's likely to cause an accident or worse scar some poor vacationing family for life. No one needs to see that! Even other cyclists ...
