    have to wait and see. We were lucky and both got onto the 3.10pm flight. A
    total of 32 hours of travelling and no sleep, we were both pleased that we did
    not have to wait at Denver airport until 7.30pm.

    Tuesday 2 June 2015 - Last entry !! The flight home was uneventful and smooth, arriving in Brisbane half an hour early at 7am instead of 7:30am.

    By 7:45am, we were in a taxi and heading for home. We are both feeling well although tired for the overnight flight. We will sleep well tonight.

    ... walked a little further in search of the canals. Surfers paradise has the longest network of canals on the world, lined with luxury homes and boats. We saw a few when we came in. Next to the canals we found was a small park, where we found an unattended children's play area.     ... off to hospital where I had surgery to cut out a meniscus tear and have the knee scraped. To have it done within three weeks of coming home was great and my thanks go out to Dr Mark Deckers who held the knife and made sure all went well.
