    ... said okay and grandma nudged me, smiled at the lady and said 'any lower' and she said '480,000' and I said okay and then I pulled out my money and gran said '450,000' and she said okay. High five to grandma. Anyway it's bloody gorgeous and I love it and I'm happy. We went and had dinner at the Goldfish Restaurant and dinner was superb. We headed back to the hotel where we a re both currently laying on the most uncomfortable beds of all time.

    ... and caught some waves. Three days later I'm still sore all over but I'm excited to practice more as we traveled up the coast, so much so that going to a town called Surfers Paradise sounded exactly like what I wanted. Turns out it's not. The town is part of the Gold Coast, which is a massive conglomeration of high rises, theme parks, tourist traps, night clubs for barely legal kids and, ironically, not all that much surfing.     ... After that we go up to Rainbow Beach, then down a little to Noosa for a few days, then to Mooloolaba, then back to Brisbane. We're in Bunk for 1 more night then. Decided we're staying in the airport for the last night, as we'll need to be at the airport so early, we'd be paying for about 3 hours sleep.

    Stayed in the hostel for the rest of the day. Went and had tea then for showers.
    Watched a few things on my laptop then slept.

    We arrive into Brisbane feeling exhausted, who knew travelling was so hardcore. We had a lot of things we needed to plan and book online but didn't have the enthusiasm that night so delayed it until the next day. The accommodation we had for the 3 nights in Brisbane was a very clean and modern apartment we booked through air bnb, the host was kind enough to take us to the local supermarket for a top up.
