    ... By ths tins we wer a lil drink. Well. Plastered. Hic. But we had fun. On the way back, we stopped off at a little spot high up next to the Golden Gate Bridge for some amazing views and excellent photo opportunities.     ... room someone attempted to park a large SUV in there that would often obstruct the road. A new experience for me was having to pay to enter a National Park! But nonetheless it was worth it. Despite being quite congested on the main boardwalk we saw some huge redwoods, some of which were 700+ years old. We took a side track that had lots of stairs and was steep so we didn't see too many people on that route. The bush or 'forest' in the US is a lot different than in NZ. ...

    ... health and safety measures were tightened..... 3 men died during the construction of the bridge, a testament to the improvements.

    After we'd crossed the bridge we descended to Sausalito where we had the option of catching the ferry back to SF or continuing, we opted to continue and said goodbye to our fellow riders.

    ... all sorts, it was fantastic! And after we'd sampled some of the cheeses we decided that the packed lunch we'd made earlier was no match for the deli!
