... impressed with service all round. Even knowing staff work for tips, we all know that people can do that in any number of ways...and all we've experienced is cheerful. Duluth has around 83000 popn but has so many more services and store outlets than we have in Darwin. Not surprising though, given the surrounding popn. Stopped at WalMart on the way. We are regulars. Arrived to campground. Carter read they had a hot tub. No hot tub no wifi. Raining, we all took a nap. On our way into Superior Wisconsin, that is the across the river from Duluth MN, we saw a billboard advertising 20 year, 200,000 mile warranties on new Ford Cars. We couldn't believe our eyes. Closer to the bridge, we saw lake freighters in drydock, and others unloading or loading from grain elevators.

First the weather report: I started off from St Ignace and it was a beautiful sunny day! The only problem was that it was 11.5C !!! COLD. By the time I got to Minnesota it was 23.5C and I was shedding clothes as fast as I could. I can't win.
My GPS this morning told me I would arrive at Itasca State Park (the source of the Mississippi) by 7pm tonight what it didn't tell ...
