... me to wade out to a gravel bar to get a better view! I was hesitant at first but it was well worth the traverse across the slippery rocks and cold water! We spent a lot of time watching, listening, and photographing Manabezho and Manido Falls.

... perfect for a picnic). Climbing the tower gives an even greater perspective of the city of Duluth and beyond. Glancing into the harbor, I noticed that the ore boat was continuing into port, under one of the highway bridges that connects Duluth to Superior, WI.

Woke up this morning to a much warmer morning than yesterday and also much cloudier. The sun was rising through the cloud cover but we soon found ourselves clouded over, which lasted until about 1100. This morning required another trip to Aerostich for a few last minute purchases and a ride around downtown Duluth to see the architecture and the harbor.
