      ... on a dirt road, turn the heat on and drive away. I got my karma as I got very lost on the way out. The dirt roads leading up to the crash site are also used mostly by loggers. The roads are long and narrow and you don't realize you've gone the wrong way until you hit a dead end several miles later. I must have toured almost all of the logging roads before running into a guy driving a gravel truck and asked for directions (thank God I was a female, our I could have been lost all day!). ...

      ... lake is 40 miles by 20 . Biggish to be sure. They have ice races for cars in the winter (doh) on 4 feet of ice, described by the captain as "amusing". I do know that an Alfa GTV6 with 4 studded tires makes a very good ice racer... There's a good sized mountain outside of town that has ski runs. So the snowmobilers have some options.       wow! moose, loons, mountains and lots of water. we are about 20miles south of greenville,maine which is where the tip of moosehead lake is located. it is the largest lake in maine, 40miles long and 12miles wide. it is undeveloped for the most part. some restaurants and stuff in greenville on the tip of the lake and some houses but mostly undeveloped shoreline and mountains. greenville the biggest town around has ...
