... Godfather desk - to my right the Godfather script with handwritten scribbles on it.
I was so emotional! What things to see!!

We had fresh mozzarella and the most amazing bread/doughnut ball things. Pizza that may have been more salad than pizza and we sipped wine as we looked over the vineyards. Heavenly.

Day 13 - cycling the Golden Gate

A travel blog entry by samfader on Sep 13, 2014

We continued our run of typical touristy things, and hired bikes ($40 EACH - extortion!!) to cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge. Few places give tours on the spot, so we picked a big winery close to our chosen lunch spot. Robert Mondavi, your lovely winery won by proximity. For $20 each we got a tour of the winemaking process and two shots of wine. Nope. Still don't like the taste of it. Honestly I did like ...

... because Zach is so ridiculously clumsy and dappy that he was an endless stream of tipsy comedy moments. We played an epic game of 4 way Pente which took us to midnight when there was more champagne, and then we all fell asleep within half an hour.
Now we're on our last 4 days here before we head to the vineyard down the road, so we're hoping to visit Jim's winery tomorrow and Ron has promised Daniel he can try shooting a pistol!
