Drove to Calistoga which is the northernmost town in Napa Valley and walked around. Very interesting but more low-key than its tony neighbour St Helena and Yountville.

... recommend eating here if you are in Napa. The servers were excellent and food was delicious. They had no problems accommodating my corn allergy. Corkage of $15 for your first bottle of wine we enjoyed a bottle of the Merryvale Merlot it was a perfect pairing with our meals. A note that most restaurants in Napa allow you to bring in your wine with a corkage fee this allows you to enjoy some of your purchases right away :-)
... of the Sanur beach, and we strolled south along here until we found a restaurant that had some people in it, where we ate dinner on the beach as it got dark. Bali is just south of the equator, so the sun comes up fast and goes down fast, and the days and nights are about 12 hours each. We were pretty tired at this point, so headed back to the hotel and went to sleep; the stopover in Taiwan didn’t really count as a night, so the net effect was of a very long travel ...
