Left Kamloops, British Columbis under sunny skies and 60 degrees. Went from rolling hills to mountains again. Stopped in Revelstoke, British Columbia and rode up the mountain to the top of the mountain (Meadowpark) at the snowline.

SNOW on the mountain still, so we couldn't ride all the way to the top - the road was still closed. Very …

We had a great day yesterday. It was rather uneventful in a wonderful way. I had thought the girls would want to hit the hot springs early but as it turned out they wanted to play at the park after breakfast and then we wandered around this little town and had an ice-cream at the only place we could find one the local grocery store. ... es Kananaskis je více než krásná, východní část Rockies je zde úžasná. I přestože jsme především v létě 2011 sjezdili značnou část Rockies, zde v Kananaskis jsme ještě nikdy nebyli a nestačíme se tedy divit, o co jsme celou dobu přicházeli. Kananaskis je kovbojská oblast, je zde velké množství rančů, kde se práce s koňmi a skotem dělá stejně, jako to známe z filmů. Však ...

    ... outside.

Today's route took us up highway 95/93 about 101 miles from Wasa to Radium Hot Springs. Everything is so green and lush. Of course, it would have been a lot prettier if the sun was out. Instead we had drizzle to moderate rain the whole drive. We crossed the Kootenay River a few times and found it close to bank full, very muddy and filled with ...
