Day 16: We drove along the 17-mile route including the famous PGA Pebble Beach Golf course. From there, we followed the Highway #1 aling the scenic coast line. At one of the many beaches, we could observe seals / sea elephants. We finally arrived in a small town to stay over, which offeref great Tacos and Italian dinner.
... in the world, Lombard St. We were able to experience driving down it and then started to find our way out of the city and down Highway 1 to Monterey. After missing the turn to 280 South, we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, took the first exit, turned around and crossed it again and finally were on the right road! Well, we didn't walk across the GG Bridge, but we did drive across it four times! LOL. We took Highway 17 across to Highway 1 and our first stop ...
... much. We expect to be on the road again tomorrow.
We send our love to all our family and friends in New Zealand following the earthquake. Thanks to Greg for going round to our place to check - we appreciate it and thanks to Ryan for offering to do so too.

... to see that Rv's are allowed to line up along the coast road for $40 per night. Too many to count and we have seen that in many places along the coast. 5 pm and we headed to Pismo beach. Got a room and then we went to Denny's restaurant for tea.. Had been 25 years since last there. Had great memories of using them and was ticketed to go back. Used wifi to phone Jessica cos she has heaps of data and chatted for almost an hr. what a treat
