Our day starts very early at Turtle Beach RV park and it's still dark when the dogs and I step out for our morning walk. All the other campers are sleeping and the only noises are the distant rumble of the highway and the croaking of the frogs on the San Joaquin river. It is very pretty here but we didn't get much chance to enjoy our surroundings …
Day 16: We drove along the 17-mile route including the famous PGA Pebble Beach Golf course. From there, we followed the Highway #1 aling the scenic coast line. At one of the many beaches, we could observe seals / sea elephants. We finally arrived in a small town to stay over, which offeref great Tacos and Italian dinner.
... in the world, Lombard St. We were able to experience driving down it and then started to find our way out of the city and down Highway 1 to Monterey. After missing the turn to 280 South, we drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, took the first exit, turned around and crossed it again and finally were on the right road! Well, we didn't walk across the GG Bridge, but we did drive across it four times! LOL. We took Highway 17 across to Highway 1 and our first stop ...
... much. We expect to be on the road again tomorrow.
