      A group of people from conference were planning to go down to Niagara Falls today. It turned out that it was mostly the tourists that wanted to go (for obvious reasons) and it soon became apparent that it was going to be a bit of a logistical nightmare. The Hodges saved the day by lending us their van, which Aaron Spray drove.       ... Well, the description of the light display on the internet was much better than the real thing! Basically just a bunch of lights in some trees with a few light displays. Definitely not worth getting wet and cold for-which we did! Also, the fireworks display was an hour late and I'm so glad we decided to return to our room to watch it. Our visit to Canada has been great. I'm glad we took the time out to see it. Back to the US ...

      ... high speeds then you go outside near the base to look at the falls. You have to wear ponchos as you get wet from the spray from the falls. Sunday was a good day to go not that many tourists in the early part of the morning. Back up the lift (didn't buy the photo of us) and onto the next attraction Niagara Fury which is a film with visual effects of the creation of the falls.
