... delightful village, similar in lots of ways to South Australia's Hahndorf, or Washington State's Leavenworth.
As we turned into the main street, I asked if it was possible to go on a horse drawn carriage ride. So to my delight we only had a 10 minute wait till one was available.

Our driver owned Ebony the lovely big horse, and as we ambled through the village, she told us lots of different tales plus pointed ...

"What's this?" said Beth, picking up the white piece of paper that we found under our door the next day. "$127?! But we'd already paid?" I looked at the piece of paper, yep $127 alright. Our flight was only delayed by half an hour and that was mainly due to the fact they needed to de ice the plane ...

      ... was rather invigorating.

After leaving the falls we were taken to the Niagara Gorge and Whirlpool where the falls originated from and where they converge into Lake Ontario. This was a beautiful spot particularly because the mountainside was filled with trees of amazing colours. If this keeps up, the only photos for the rest of this trip will be of leaves!

We had a late lunch in the gorgeous town of ...

... I'd heard Niagara Falls is Canada's attempt at Vegas. It's nowhere near that scale but it does feel a bit tacky. The falls I pretty much stumbled onto. All of a sudden you see this white water in the background and a bit of a rumble in the air and there they are. Like the Grand Canyon you start at the top. First impressions didn't have the wow factor I got with the canyon or say The Great Wall of China. That's not to say they aren't impressive they just ...
