    I failed to leave town last night as I was trying to. They lured me in saying let's go get beer. Then beer turned to pizza and when it was all done my wallet was a lot lighter.     We went to the post office, sorted our resupply and had Jim drive us back to 266 by 11 am. We had a 9 mile day in mind to take us to Van Dusen rd but we ended up hiking that out by 2:30 and we just weren't ready to be done. Trust like that is in short supply these days and it is truly a humbling experience to see it face to face.     ... and it's a big undertaking. We were done by the early afternoon and then had a festival where the members of the Quechua trip showed us traditional dances and parts of their culture. To me I felt like I should have done more work to deserve such hospitality and generosity. It turns out there were two Redlands alum who lived on the reservation so it was awesome to connect with them.
