Our guide was Kent who entertained us with his commentary as he drove us up the Hollywood Hills to view the Hollywood sign and then over to the other side to Beverly Hills where we saw many celebrity homes, film locations and drove down Rodeo ...

... have a pool which I dived into at end of run very hot here. We then went to Redlands to see Scotts new Bike shop he opened 2 year's ago very impressive larger than the Upland shop, went shopping to Pro Pass amazing out door shop with lots of stuffed animals etc next door to a fish restaurant where we went back for dinner that night great day yummy fish

Well, we reached LAX with no problems...was it an omen but no ...... the travel gods were not so kind.

We found the gate for our next flight. The first leg of our journey and a stop in Sydney. The flight was delayed. Deep breath - no problem - it'll all be fine!

Up to the gate to get our seat assignments hoping to sit together. The gate attendant looked like a young Santa but ...
