Bruce and I arrived before sue and the kids, so we had to wait around at the airport for a few hours to meet them. It takes about 2 hours to get from the plane to the exit, due to the size of the airport and the huge queues through customs, where fingerprints are taken along with a photo.
Our hotel had a pool and spa, which the kids were keen to use, and it helped us ...

... We couldn't leave the U.S. without trying it! Finally we could check into our room and it was bag packing and nap time! Jayden came for another slumber party and we went out for dinner to celebrate an amazing trip. Chicken pot pie and a couple of ciders was the perfect way to end it. Tomorrow is travel day. Time to call it quits. And a trip home is never complete without total confusion over which bus to catch from which side of the road. But after consulting a number of clueless locals a fellow tourist was able to point us in the right direction for the hour return trip and we slumped into the seats glad to give the feet a rest.

A sprint up Highland and we were home - and happy to be showering - changing and winding down.

... Garden – another great experience. Toured the private rooms the millionaire & billionaires use. Stood at the very top of the stadium & went down onto the court. Visited the change rooms. For basketball lovers it was awesome. They recently spent one billion recently renovating it.
