... 56854; The rest of the trip passed by just as quickly. I didn't sleep at all on the trip, I did however enjoy the scenery. The trees are starting to change colour as they move into Autumn and it very pretty. We arrive at the Canadian boarder at about 4:30 and it didn't take long to clear customs and cross ...

... a change and had a burger :-) Riley asked our lovely waitress how old she was, I gasped, and then he says, "just cause Mitch wanted to know......" It was funny cause we'd rehearsed it before she had come back! She was 21!! The walk back to our hotel was extremely cold but we charged on, getting a hot chocolate from the Starbucks in the foyer. Having some quiet time as Mitch has taken the boys to the pool! Hope they are behaving themselves ...

... beneath a fine spray of ice water. In my own group, we had a sweet boy from Calgary circa Lahore and a Palestinian-Italian circa California. I stood at the foot of the Falls watching the huge weight of water pouring over in a tumult of green-blue, hushed, frozen, timeless. But perhaps what really amazed me was the way in which we had globalised the vastness of the world to bring everything so close, within reaching, touchable. The world in a tour ...
