DAY 14 - FARMINGTON, NY TO NIAGARA FALLS, ONTARIO

A travel blog entry by peter-linda on Sep 07, 2014

... Falls you could ever imagine. The room had a Spa and a separate sitting room. I took advantage of the spa straight away. What bliss!

On our way out to dinner we were in the elevator and Russ was returning the trolley that we had used to get our luggage up to the room. There were some other people in the lift and he said to them "Would you like a cart?". They looked at him strangely and said, "That's a funny thing to say, why would we ...

... illegal, on both sides of the border, to attempt to go over the falls. The following day we headed back to Niagara for our 'Maid of the Mist' boat tour; Where we saw the raging currents and their deifying roar, while feeling the refreshing mist of 600,000 gallons of water falling before our eyes every second. It was an amazing experience and one that will be remembered for many years to come! Next stop, the Canadian boarder and then onto ...

He was sniffing ...

... America & the area hasn't been over commercialized like on the Canadian side, our side of this Natural Wonder is like a park & very accessible. You can park all day for only $5 and see everything for FREE!! There wasn't even a State Park fee!! We walked over 6 miles on great trails & at the end we had a nice dinner at the Top of the Falls restaurant with a view of the falls!! We were both so very happy we had visited Niagara Falls!!

No photos today-had a bit if a sleep in & a late breaky. The outlets don't open until 11am on Sundays so we took our time. The outlets were good-no where near as good as Vegas but I got my J-Crew fix which you don't get in Vegas.. Rick bought himself new ski gear, it's was all on sale & cheaper than hiring, now we just have to try & squeeze it in the suitcase!! We head into town tomorrow to check out the CN Tower, then drive to Buffalo for the ...
