... see out the side of the ship and part of the back of the ship which is what we wanted when sailing through the Panama Canal. In fact there is a door at the end of the corridor/hallway with a large balcony looking over the back of the ship which hopefully won’t be too well known about by others on the ship !

... the bridge because I belong to the cruise critic internet site - Normally, they would charge for this tour so it was an added bonus that we went on this excursion for free.
Today, we also got to enjoy lots of chocolate. The restaurant served tons of chocolate treats. The restaurant also had many sculptures made of chocolate. It was very tasty.

It was a refreshing change to finally be in America again after all that time away. Just a couple of days until I’m back in Brighton though, and nowhere in the world is quite like Brighton. Fort Lauderdale is however one of the few other places I’d happily live for a while. It’s got everything, it’s near Miami, and the weather is stunning most of the year.

... flight-seat neighbours were two South Africans called Molly and Michelle... Three M's (all very sweet :) ) I slept pretty well and watched a cute movie "The Perks of Being a Wallflower". My flight connected in Atlanta, where I bought internet access for 15 minutes... Cost me $10. Luckily when I arrived in Fort Lauderdale I realised that it really is true that internet is free and accessible over. My crew-house on 18th Court ...
