      Day 12, Salinas – The last special event of our reunion with Berkeley was meeting Heather, his fiancée. We packed up the car and rendezvoused at a café as we headed north again. Heather is a lovely, beautiful lady and we enjoyed getting to know her in our short time together.       ... to the downstairs where a fire was blazing just waiting for me. The next few days I worked during the day and enjoyed some fun company with Frank and Joyce. I got a call from the mechanics in Watsonville and they told me my truck was ready to pick up as it was all fixed!
