Beautiful Mediterranean looking motel with a well equipped kitchen and close to the bay. The managers were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We even got free wifi (500mb) although it didn't work on our last night.

Äntligen framme i Nya Zeeland! Vi plockade upp vår hyrbil som vi ska ha i 14 dagar. Sen shoppa vi supplies i vanlig ordning, tog lunch/middag innan vi börja vår resa norrut. ... Kauri museum where we walked up a staircase that was carved inside the trunk of a Kauri tree which was pretty cool, and the last stop on the way back was for fish n' chips. Back at base, I went out with Ira (from russia) a girl from our dorm to the Pipi patch. We met a lot of locals ended up having a great night, probably better than New Year.
Chilled at Base all morning before hopping on my 10 hour bus to meet the lovely Jenni in Rotorua this evening :)
The date from the 21st October to 25th October I have rolled into one combined blog. I have been quite poorly and could not summon the energy or enthusiasm to make entries. Apologies if you have been following my blog. So 21st October braved the local rail network for a twenty minute journey into Auckland City Centre. I took control of the travel plans and headed for platform two into Auckland. Just before boarding I did the thing that no man ever needs to ...
