Emily loved the crocodiles, Josh just wanted to see the Komodo Dragon, Zac the Cheetah and when we went around on the Zebra train they made a reference to the car park to which Toby's response was "I love the Car park", I'm so glad we paid money for him to see that. ... sand, so was sore to walk on for a while. Anyway, got there in the end. There's a big sand slope down to the lake, so you can slide down or roll down and into the lake. Although guide had us warned to be careful as some people fell and broke their neck before. The lake was fab after the hike! ... closer to the South Pole and thus not as warm as we thought. Next week, we head up to the Great Barrier Reef where the location is closer to the equator and more tropical.

Upon arriving, we discovered our camp site in the National Park and that was right on the beach. After putting up the tent, we heard the lapping of the waves upon the shore and the gentle rhythm of the sea.
